Aims

Banbury United Youth Football Club operates teams from under 7 years of age up to under 18 years of age and Trains from 4 years of age and up. It is our aim to encourage children of all abilities to play football and hopefully improve their skill and understanding of the game.

It is our aim to ensure that children train with others of the same ability in this way we hope they gain a better sense of achievement at coaching sessions and benefit from physical exercise

It is our aim where possible to operate two sides between the ages of under 7 and under 18 so that the teams play against children of similar ability therefore ensuring that the experience of playing matches is an enjoyable one.

It is our aim that all of the Team Managers and Coaches gain the Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football awarded by the FA as a minimum in order to deliver quality coaching to the children.

It is our policy that each age group has its own separate coaching session. The coaching sessions centre on improving individual skill and encouraging teamwork. Teamwork is encouraged through participation in small-sided games, these ensure that the children are involved more and learn to work with other players.

Banbury United Youth FC operates a code of conduct for players to promote fair play and respect for each other as well as coaches and referees and opponents.
